The Arts Partnership is organizing a trip to New York City that is open to community members and Youtheatre students. All students in grades 1-12 must be accompanied by an adult. The trip will take place June 12-15, 2018. The estimated cost for the trip is $889 per person based on room occupancy of four people. TUESDAY, JUNE 12
6:00 AM Motor coach arrives in Findlay for loading.
Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, 200 West Main Cross Street, Findlay, Ohio 45840
7:00 AM Depart via deluxe air conditioned motor coach with DVD. (9 ½ hours have been
allotted for drive plus 2 hours for breaks and a driver change.)
6:30 PM Arrive in New York City at Rockefeller Center!
7:30 PM Enjoy dinner at the Tick Tock Diner.
9:00 PM Experience the Empire State Building.
10:30 PM Transfer to your hotel to check-in for the evening.
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 13
8:00 AM Breakfast is included at the hotel.
9:00 AM Board coach to transfer into the city.
10:00 AM Experience a ninety-minute Musical Theater Song & Movement Workshop.
11:30 AM Transfer to Chelsea Market for lunch on your own.
Following your lunch transfer to the High Line, America’s most original park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side.
2:30 PM Take the Radio City Music Hall Backstage Tour at Rockefeller Center.
5:00 PM Enjoy dinner at Maple.
7:00 PM The curtain rises on Come From Away at the Schoenfeld Theater.
10:00 PM Return to the hotel for the evening.
TURSDAY, JUNE 14
7:30 AM Breakfast is included at the hotel.
8:30 AM Load your coach and transfer to Lower Manhattan.
9:30 AM Arrive in Battery Park
10:00 AM Board the Staten Island Ferry, where from the deck you will have a perfect view of
The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
11:30 AM Following the ferry, transfer to the Financial District for lunch on your own in the area surrounding the new One World Trade Center, which at 1,776 feet, is America’s tallest building, and a brand new New York landmark.
1:00 PM Visit the National September 11th Memorial and Museum.
3:30 PM Following the memorial, transfer to the Times Square area for some time to shop
5:00 PM Enjoy pizza at John’s Pizzeria.
7:00 PM The curtain rises on The Phantom of the Opera at the Majestic Theater.
Have a talk back with members of the cast following the show.
10:30 PM Depart for home. (9 ½ hours has been allotted plus 1 hour for breaks and a driver
