40th Anniversary Logo Contest

The Arts Partnership is celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2019 and logo designed by a local student.  The logo will be used online, in print and on all branded merchandise in the celebratory year.  The contest is an opportunity for the community to tell the story of TAP by creating a logo to symbolize 40 years of arts, education, and enrichment.

Who is Eligible:

  1. Students up to age 18 are eligible (If younger than 18 years of age, you must have a parent or guardian’s signature.)
  2. Local artist only – must be a Hancock County resident.
  3. The contest is open to individuals only-not open to companies, clubs, organizations, etc.
  4. TAP Logo Contest committee members, judges and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the contest.

 

Design Guidelines:

  1. Logo must include the words – The Arts Partnership – 1979-2019 and/or 40 years
  2. Logo can be done in black/white or color.
  3. Logo must not include more than three spot colors – no halftones or gradients.
  4. Logo must be simple enough to be reproduced clearly in small size, such as a lapel pin.
  5. Logo must be original art – no plagiarism, copyright and/or trademark infringements.
  6. Paper entries must be submitted on 8 ½” x 11” sheet of white paper.
  7. Electronic entries can be created as .JPG, .TIFF, .AI, .PDF, .EPS, .PSD, but must be less than 2MB.

 

How to Enter:

  1. Submissions must be received by March 1, 2018.
  2. The contest Entry Form must be included with the art work.
  3. Include name and phone number on backside of submitted paper artwork.
  4. Only one logo design entry per applicant.
  5. Entries must be submitted by mail or email to:

Notes:The designer of the winning logo will receive a Family Four-Pack to a Youtheatre or Arts Partnership Family Series Show at Marathon Center for the Performing Arts, and a certificate of notoriety for the design.  Winner will be notified via email/phone no later than April 1, 2018.

  1. Designs will be judged on their concepts, more than technical skill.
  2. Winning design may be redrawn by a professional graphic artist at the discretion of the committee.
  3. Committee reserves the right to refuse any submitted artwork.
