The Blanks

Based in Los Angeles, The Blanks perform and sing family-friendly (cool) entertainment with plenty of (hip) musical and sketch comedy. They sing a cappella versions of popular TV show theme songs ranging from Charles in Charge to Six Million Dollar Man, and commercial jingles like By Mennen. They've put words to songs without lyrics such as the Good Old Days, the theme from The LIttle Rascals. Leading this pack of cool is a quartet of friends, The Blanks, who appear on the worldwide syndicated television show Scrubs as "Ted's Band." During the performance, The Blanks will share about their musical experiences and talk directly with students about their backgrounds and careers.

E.B. White's loving story of the friendship between a pig named Wilbur and a little gray spider named Charlotte comes to life in Theatreworks USA's production of Charlotte's Web. Wilbur has a problem: how to avoid winding up in the slaughterhouse. Enter Charlotte, a fine writer and a true friend who assures Wilbur she will save him. Charlotte hits on a plan to fool Farmer Zuckerman - she will create a "miracle." Spinning the words "Some Pig" in her web, Charlotte weaves a solution which not only makes Wilbur a prize pig, but ensures his place on the farm forever. This treasured tale, featuring mad-cap and endearing farm animals, explores bravery, selfless love, and the true meaning of friendship.

Are You My Mother? is ArtsPower's enchanting musical about Baby Bird's adventure, a journey that overflows with courage, determination, and a bit of calcualted silliness. The musical begins when Baby Bird hatches from her egg only to find an empty nest. Unaware that her mother has left to find food, Baby Bird decides to leave the nest to look for her. Along the way, she meets an array of colorful characteres who help and advise her. Persistent Baby Bird is determined to find her mother no matter what. Are You My Mother? features a rich, upbeat musical score and imaginative sets.
