Kids of all ages are sure to have a blast at this year's KidsFest! Bring the whole family to enjoy a day packed full of great activities and meet University of Findlay's Derrick the Oiler. This year’s event will feature discovery and educational opportunities such as Boonshoft's Museum’s Discovery Zone, the Golden Apple Academy’s Apple Bus filled with science activities and the Toledo Zoo. There will also be a number of sports-related activities including the Columbus Blue Jacket’s Breakaway street hockey arena and puck shoot, Columbus Crew, demonstrations by Ameri-Kan Judo, sports activity zone, and a hands-on sports area featuring The University of Findlay athletics. Kids will enjoy the many other fun things offered at KidsFest like giant inflatables, fantasy face painting, freedom express train ride, great activities offered by area non-profits, and much MORE! They can even star in their own animated video adventure!
After a day full of play, you can refuel with a number of family-friendly food items offered by 2 Cool Confections including hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza, shredded chicken sandwiches, mini-melt ice cream, snacks, pop and water. KidsFest is a family-oriented event featuring unique interactive and educational activities. KidsFest is sponsored by Time Warner Cable and presented in partnership with the Hancock Park District and the Hancock County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
