Hold onto your seats and get ready to laugh as the Arts Partnership welcomes accomplished comedians Drew Hastings and Jeff Bodart to Alexandria’s on Friday, January 8, 2016.  Part of The Arts Partnership’s After Hours Series, Comedy Night is the side-splitting standup you’ve been waiting for. General Admission tickets are available for the 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. show for $25. Tables of 10 can be reserved for an additional $25 fee.

Headlining comedian, Drew Hastings is a regular favorite on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Radio show which has given him a huge Midwest following. In 2012, Drew Hastings was elected as mayor of Hillboro, Ohio.  Hastings is also one of the elite few to receive a standing ovation on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” His commanding presence onstage immediately stamps his trademark comedy that is both hilarious and self-deprecating, including observations of the human condition and the declining state of American society. His status as an unlikely farmer has been enhanced by his vast new following of farm and ag-oriented audiences.  His new CD, “Farmageddon,” is his first PG release geared toward family-friendly listeners. Hastings’ one-hour Comedy special “Irked and Miffed,” is still one of the most popular among comedy fans.

Opening for Hastings is comedian Jeff Bodart. Bodart’s style is so relatable you will feel you know him. His animated and goofy demeanor combined with edgy quips covering his dating life, working out, his favorite food of cheese sticks, and the fact that he could never be on “Survivor” makes for some great laughs for anyone watching his show. Since starting stand up in 2001, Jeff Bodart has been making a name for himself performing in comedy clubs across the country. He has appeared multiple times on the nationally syndicated radio show, The Bob & Tom Show where he is now a regular guest and fill-in co-host. Most recently he was featured on Comedy Central radio as a result of being a semi-finalist in Comedy Central’s national talent search, Up Next.
