Riverside Wine Festival returns with NINE wineries!

Ohio Wineries are back for the The Arts Partnership’s Riverside Wine Festival 1 to 6 p.m., Saturday June 23, at Riverside Park (231 McManness Ave.). Riverside Wine Festival offers wines from Ohio wineries ranging from world-class wines to fun-to-drink wines made from fresh fruit. Attendees can sample wines from each winery and bottles will be available for purchase to take home. Riverside Wine Festival was voted the Best Wine Festival in 2016 by readers of Ohio Magazine. Wineries participating in Riverside Wine Festival are:

  • Camelot Cellars – Columbus
  • Chateau Tebeau – Helena
  • D&D Smith Winery – Norwalk
  • Deer’s Leap – Geneva
  • Gillig – Findlay
  • Paper Moon Vineyards – Vermilion
  • Sycamore Lake – Columbus Grove
  • Winery at Versailles – Versailles
  • Via Vecchia – Columbus

The event’s live entertainment will feature two bands including:

  • Deep Grove Trio: specializes in fusing together elements of soul, funk, and jazz.
  • 730 Club: features soft rock, smooth jazz, pop, classic rock, and jazz rock.

Exhibitors to be featured at the event include Awakening Minds Art, Cartoon Giant, My Own Backyard Herbs & Flowers, Rustic Bendz, Ziss Glass, Lip Tease, Amazingly Beautiful Skin Care, Daby, Everlasting Furniture, and Lula Roe.

Fine foods from local vendors will be available from Kimmel’s Mountain Man Meats, Big Jerk, Doughlicious Drizzles and Delights, Sweet Dream Gourmet, and Wolfie’s Nuts.

Attendees can also enjoy mini paint and partake sessions from Awakening Minds Art. For no extra cost, attendees can also take advantage of large yard games such as corn hole and giant Jenga.

Admission for Riverside Wine Festival is $25, five tastings and commemorative wine glass included. Tickets for those not tasting or those under 21 are $10. Additional tasting tickets are available for purchase. Entrances are located on the east side of Riverside Pool near the band shell and the concession stand.

Attendees of legal drinking age can purchase tasting privileges with proper identification and in accordance with applicable laws. Free parking is available at Riverside Park and the East lot of Riverside Suites located at 1100 E. Main Cross Street. Proceeds from the event benefit The Arts Partnership’s arts education programs.
