The Arts Partnership is starting a monthly performing arts club through its Youtheatre program. Students in grades 1-12, regardless of ability or past involvement with Youtheatre, are eligible and encouraged to participate.
Youtheatre Club will meet the second Tuesday of each month beginning October 10 and ending on May 8. Grades 1-5 will meet 4:30-6:30 p.m. and grades 6-8 and 9-12 will meet 4:00-6:00 p.m. There will be a different theme for each age-appropriate group meeting such as auditioning, improvisation and character development, singing and choreography and technical theatre, just to name a few. The Club will be taught by Youtheatre teaching artists and area professionals presenting as special guests.
