Students in grades 1-12, regardless of ability or past involvement with Youtheatre, are invited to attend monthly after school Youtheatre Club meetings. The Club will be held the second Tuesday of each month October through May, for 2 hours after school and follow the school year calendar. There will be a different theme for each age-appropriate group meeting such as auditioning, improvisation and character development, singing and choreography and technical theatre, just to name a few. The Club will be taught by Youtheatre Teaching Artists and area professionals presenting as special guests.
Cost is $45 per year (This is a year commitment)

Grades 1-5 will be from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Grades 6-8 and 9-12 will be from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

Throughout the school year the 1-5 club with explore various facets of theatre through the five senses. We approach each meeting with a sense of curiosity and creativity.We will explore with hands-on actives that will be student-lead. As Miss Frizzle always says be ready to “Take Chances, Make Mistakes, and Get messy.”
Grades 6-8 Julie Lane and Lindsay Taylor
Youtheatre Club for grades 6-8 is an excellent opportunity for students to expand their theatre knowledge and skills through student driven activities while emphasizing the development of their collaborative and communication skills. Students will explore areas of theatre from performance to technical in a creative atmosphere that will enhance their love for the arts
Grades 9-12 Meriah Sage and Erica Bickhart
Inspired by modern musical theatre, modern music and Broadway theatre, the high school Youtheatre Club will develop their own ideas and new creations. Join other high school students who love theatre in exploring these exciting works of art and creating works, images, designs, scenes and/or songs.
